TruCut

TruCut Die Corporation was founded in 1968 as a tool and die manufacturer. Since then, TruCut has evolved into a world-class provider of service parts for the HVAC industry. Today, they specialize in solving manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution challenges for their OEM customers, particularly with low-volume service parts. They operate over 380,000 square feet of space divided equally between manufacturing and warehousing/distribution in Sebring, Salem, and Alliance.

In 2023 and 2024, CTC completed two significant projects for TruCut at their Salem location. The first project in 2023 focused on expanding and modernizing the existing office space. The facility’s former offices were insufficient in terms of space, modernization, and efficiency. To address these issues, a two-story office buildout was added to the southeast corner of the facility, more than doubling the original office space and capabilities. This project also included renovating restrooms with additional fixtures and introducing locker rooms and a break room, which were not available before. These new amenities provided valuable enhancements for the TruCut staff.

Unfortunately, in the spring of 2023, TruCut experienced a critical loss due to a fire that completely destroyed an addition on the west end of the building. CTC expedited the rebuilding process to mitigate the impact of this loss. They began designing the replacement space in late summer/early fall of 2023, with completion of the rebuilt structure in the spring of 2024. The new space, just under 6,000 square feet, includes a machine shop, commercial vehicle fleet maintenance equipment, jib cranes, a mezzanine for tool and parts storage, an isolated flammable material storage room, as well as executive offices and bathrooms.
