Cory’s prime focus is architectural and structural design with an emphasis in BIM modeling. He has worked in design on a vast variety of projects from car dealerships to aluminum extrusion plants. Cory specializes in autoCAD, REVIT, and COMcheck.

Cory is also a leader within our design team who helped implement a procedure that has created several benefits in the preconstruction design process. Using the power of the Building Information Modeling tool, Revit by Autodesk, he models structural reinforcing bars in redesigned groups which can be seamlessly loaded into a project model. This not only saves time by having a catalog of predesigned standard concrete pads on hand, but it also allows revisions to be made project-wide to all structural foundation pads of that selected group instantly. Cory exercised the persistence and critical thinking needed to develop and organize the new system for implementation.

Cory holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Minor in Construction Management from Kent State University. Cory describes his approach to engineering as highly detail-oriented, which is the main driver to success on each of his projects. In Cory’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his nephew, watching the Chicago Blackhawks, fantasy football, golfing, hiking, shooting & archery, and DIY projects.
