Campbell Health & Community Development Center

The Campbell Health & Community Development Center (CHCDC) is a one-of-a-kind, year-round community hub designed to support the whole child, whole family, and broader region through an innovative network of educational, healthcare, workforce, and community partners. Located on the Campbell City Schools campus, the CHCDC brings together partners including Akron Children’s Hospital, the Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio, Youngstown State University, NEOMED, Eye Care Associates, Sight for All United, the Cleveland Sight Center, Goodwill Industries, and numerous workforce and community organizations to provide comprehensive wraparound services for students and families. The facility features on-site pediatric, dental, vision, behavioral health, and family support services, early childhood education, STEM learning environments, workforce development programs, career exploration opportunities, and higher education pathways that allow both students and adults to participate in credentialing programs and College Credit Plus coursework. At the heart of the facility is a vibrant Family Engagement Center featuring indoor field turf, duckpin bowling, golf simulators, and flexible event space that support year-round wellness, recreation, community involvement, and family engagement. By integrating healthcare, education, workforce training, and family-centered programming under one roof, the CHCDC serves as a unique regional destination and a national model for strengthening communities while preparing students and families for lifelong success.
