Zarbana Aluminum Extrusion, located on the southwest side of Columbiana, once again has chosen C. Tucker Cope & Assoc. as their design-build contractor for a new 69,300 SF stand-alone facility that will be used to produce billet log castings. This facility will include a deep casting concrete pit, approximately 28’ deep with an additional 22’ deep, 2’ diameter caisson. There will be a 20-ton overhead crane installed spanning 82’ of the new facility. The new building will include all poured concrete foundation walls with several large interior foundation sections for new equipment, some at 8’ in-depth, or more. It will consist of a single-sloped roof at a height in excess of 54’ on the high and provide the necessary clearance inside the building for the new equipment.
